About this Book:

Each tale is tinged with humor, yet filled to the brim with purpose. The stories are appropriate for any age, and are entrenched with Reading, English, and Science standards of learning. Books of fables, at least those in the mold of Aesop, are rare to be found. One may find them here, written to pique the interest of any aged child . . . or adult. Each character is unforgettable. The reader will come away more compassionate, courageous, and committed toward making the world a better place.

About the Author:

Ben Talley is a recipient of the prestigious McGlothlin Award for Teaching Excellence and a former Virginia Teacher of the Year. He currently teaches Science to over one hundred 4th and 5th graders daily (the age of his son, David, at this book's writing). Mr. Talley directs free weekend and summer Nature/Science Camps for children. Profits from the sale of this book go directly toward thsoe Camps and/or other children's endeavors.

Book Review:

Shakespeare wrote in Hamlet, Act 3, "The purpose . . . was and is, to hold the mirror up to Nature." The Bard would be happy with this book. Books of fables, at least those in the mold of Aesop, are rare to be found. One may find them here, written to pique the interest of any aged child . . . or adult. Each character is unforgettable. The reader will come away more compassionate, courageous, and committed toward making the world a better place.
