| About this Book: | Captain JH Tachie-Menson is the first African person to sail a commercial ship accross the Atlantic to USA. He composed sacred music at sea and on land for choirs he directed. The Captain's Hymnal is a compilation of some 30 hymns. Fortunately, he wrote most of his hymns according to well known meters, and so the tunes can be used to sing favorite old hymns.
